Cayman Brac is the most northeasterly sister island of the Cayman Islands and is only about
a 45 minute flight or 90 miles from Grand Cayman. Cayman Brac has a tranquil
atmosphere of yesterday and is distinctive for its limestone bluff
(brac, means bluff in Gaelic) that rises to 140ft, at the east end
of the Island. It is renowned for its caves, magnificent bird life
and excellent diving. There are only about 2000 inhabitants who welcome
friendly chats about how proud they are of their seafaring heritage
and their quiet and peaceful lifestyle.
