General Information for choosing your Cayman Islands villa
The best
way to start is to contact us by email or phone with the details
of your stay:
1) Dates of arrival/departure.
2) Number of persons in the party (with the ages of the children,
if any)
3) Type of villa required. Private house in its own grounds
or condo complex/apt.
4) Type of location preferred. Close to activities or quiet/secluded/isolated.
5) Any special requirements. Pool/tennis/beach front/specific
bedding, etc.
6) If you have seen a few villas on this website that look
suitable, let us know.
To request a villa use the Cayman Islands Villa Request Form on
this site, call us on 1-800-235-5888 or email us at reservatons@caymanvillas.com
We welcome travel agents and wholesalers, so please give them
these details if you would prefer them to contact us for you.
With the above details, we will give you a choice of 2 –
4 villas. Look at those villas on this website; you will find
the description, pictures, floor plan and rates on each one.

How
to book your villa
Booking
with us is very easy!
When you have chosen the villa that suits you best, please
contact us to establish the availability, so that we can be
put it on ‘Hold’ for you for 24 hours. (Have a 2nd
choice ready too) You will then be sent a very simple Booking
Form to complete, which will show that we are ‘holding’
the villa. You then complete & return the form, which
will provide us with all the information we need to confirm
the booking for you.
The information you provide:
1) Times of arrival, departure and flight details (if not
available, later is fine)
2) Credit card details (or method of payment) for the deposit.
(usually 50%)
3) Any special requests (baby gear, extra maid service, bedding,
etc.)
4) Your mailing address
On receipt of these details your Confirmation Form will be
emailed or faxed within 24 hours of receiving the Booking
Form and will then be put in the mail with a package of information
including your arrival instructions (time permitting).
Payment: We accept major credit cards, cashiers
cheques, cash or travelers cheques.
50% deposit is required to confirm (100% if booking is less than 7 nights or made within 30 days). Final payment is due on arrival (60 days prior to arrival for Xmas/New Year bookings).
If you check-in at our office we will give you your receipts then. If not, we will debit your credit card on file for the final payment the day of your arrival, you are welcome to come to our office sometime during your stay to collect your receipts. We always enjoy meeting our guests,
especially on arrival, so please come and see us…
Minimum Stay: Most properties have a 7
night minimum during the Winter season and holidays (Christmas/New
Year, Thanksgiving, Easter), the larger villas have a 14 night
minimum at Christmas. During the summer season most
properties have a 5 night minimum. Each property and
its availability is dealt with on an individual basis.

Rental Rates
Nightly
Rates.
All rates are in US$ and include tax and gratuity.
(If you call elsewhere, you will get the rate, but have to
add a 10% tax and 5-10% gratuity on top of that rate, so there
would be an additional 15-20%!) Our rates are also for the
maximum number of persons allowed in the villa and
most have a queen sofa bed. So, the rate for a 1 bedroom villa
would normally allow 4 persons, 6 in a 2 bedroom, 8 in a 3
bedroom, etc.
Babies are not counted if they are under 2 and in a crib. We can help to arrange baby equipment rental.
The rates will not include cooks, babysitters, grocery shoppers,
etc. but we can help arrange them for you. These rates vary
but are normally between $15 – 25 per hour.
Many of our villas offer special tiered and honeymoon rates. Please note these do not apply during any holiday period.
Monthly Rates
We also have exceptionally reasonable monthly rates (28 days).
For winter months, multiply the nightly rate by 21: a 25%
discount.
For summer months, multiply the nightly rate by 14: a discount
of 50%!
Monthly Rates Included: Gov’t
tax and once a week maid service (where maid service is
normally provided daily
if paying on a nightly basis)
Monthly Rates Do Not included: utilities
(electricity, water, tel. & TV, etc.) any damage incurred,
or any cleaning necessary on departure. To cover these bills
we collect a
utility/damage/cleaning deposit on arrival. This amount is
held on file to pay these bills & any unused portion
is refunded to you after your departure.

Cancellations
A US$100.00
fee is charged for any change/revision in the booking.(No
fee if the stay is lengthened)
For a refund (less $100 + one night rental) we need
at least 30 days notice in writing.
For a refund (less $100 + 2 nights rental) over Xmas/New
Year holidays we need 60 days written notice.
Otherwise, the deposit is held on file and can be used for a future stay at the same villa within a year, on condition that the villa is available and not sold. If not used within one year, the funds will be dispersed to the property owner.

Vehicles
All the major rental car companies are located on Grand Cayman
and most have offices at the airport. They range from inexpensive
to luxury 2-5 seater cars, all sorts of jeeps, to large 12
seater vans. The rates change for winter and summer and are
considered to be the lowest in the Caribbean.
Book directly on line and get a 15% - 20% discount! Almost
all of them have an 800# & website.
We normally recommend Avis Cayman
as they help us with key pick-ups when our office is closed.
Their rates are very competitive, have a good variety of
vehicles,
and normally give a 20% discount if you book on line: www.coconutcarrentals.com
Limousines, taxis and tour buses are also available at the
airport.
Rental Boats
If staying in the Cayman Kai area, (especially in The Cove
or facing the North Sound) we can connect you with those that
will rent you a little boat to keep on your beach/dock. Most
are small 14 foot fiberglass or aluminum boats. For about
US$300 per week you can have the boat delivered to your beach,
which will include oars, a small engine, a full tank of gas
and a couple of life vests. You will have endless fun visiting
the famous Stingray City, Sand Bar, fabulous snorkeling on
the reef, or just exploring the North Sound.

prepared before your arrival, delivered during your stay,

Weddings
For a more intimate wedding experience, a villa can be the perfect option for a couple looking to marry in the Cayman Islands. With the luxury and beauty of a private home, couples can work with wedding planners to transfer a villa into an ideal spot for a beachfront ceremony.
*Many of our villas will allow small weddings. Details of wedding to be provided. Please note, a refundable damage deposit/cleaning on departure required on arrival plus a US$100 wedding fee. Cayman Villas will be happy to provide you with information required for a Cayman wedding and can put you in touch with a wedding planner.

Pets
None of
the condominium resorts will allow pets, but we do have a
list of private houses that will allow dogs:

If you see the perfect villa for you but is not listed above,
please give us all the details on your pet, as some of our
villa owners, if asked, may agree to accept your pet.
Generally, we require a pet deposit of about $500, due with
your final payment, which will be refunded if no damage has
been done.
