About This Villa

Welcome to Hidden Escape. This super energy efficient 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath family home has already proven itself with power costs averaging less than $30 per month.

On the ground floor the 8-foot front door welcomes you into an elevated reception hall leading to the open plan main living room and kitchen. The kitchen features white quartz counter tops and a central island with built-in Kitchen-aid microwave oven. Whirlpool appliances include low profile fridge freezer, dishwasher and stove. All are stainless steel and high energy effiency. The stove features LPG gas hob burners with gas broiler and oven. The double stainless steel sink has a multi-function restaurant-style faucet.

In the main living room features 10 foot ceilings with low level sofas and loungers. The home theatre system centres around the Denon AV Receiver which feeds audio to the 9.1 Yamaha built in speaker system. Video can be displayed on the Sharp HD TV on wall mounted pivot arm and/or on the 10ft electric ceiling mounted screen via the HD ceiling projector. The entire house is wired with Cat 6 cable to extend the smart home features as required.

From the main living room, four patio doors slide back to completely open up to the huge screened wrap-around deck with easy chairs and outside dining on both the east and west sides. The deck experiences cool breezes almost all year round and wraps around 3 sides of the property overlooking the tranquility of the pool deck and surrounded by an abundance of mature trees, untouched apart from a few nature trails. The salt-water pool measures 12ft x 36ft - great for laps, or just relaxing in the corner! - and is surrounded with glass mosaic tile and deck-recessed decorative water spouts. Back inside, the dining room is separated from the main living room by glazed french-doors and can seat 8-10 people.

The ground floor guest bedroom features a queen bed with modern free-standing cabinets and drawers. There is a powder room immediately adjacent and 'walk-in' under stairs storage /closet. Accessed from the front deck is the 'boot room' and separate laundry, including electric energy efficient washer and gas dryer for the few days in the Cayman when laundry cannot be dried on the rotary line. From the pool deck there is accesses to the pool shower room, a full wet-room bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. There is a separate mechanical room housing the control panels for the PV inverter solar and rainwater harvesting is also controlled from this room. This room provide useful storage and was also designed to house batteries for PV produced electricity.

The second floor features the master bedroom suite, with access through to the huge walk in 'his and hers' closet via the master bathroom. The bedroom has a trayed ceiling and wall mounted Samusung HD TV, blu ray player and home theatre receiver with built-in speakers in the bedroom and bathroom. The master bath has separate low profile sinks, double walk-in shower and sunken jacuzzi tub with granite surround. There is also a separate toilet. There are two further bedrooms each featuring built-in closets and vaulted ceilings. There is a large family bathroom with separate sinks, walk-in shower, toilet and tub.
