Description

The spacious layout at Kirk Kove in Cayman Kai will surprise you. A 2-bedroom, 2-bath beach house found on a quiet, protected cove, Kirk Kove offers plenty of space, both indoors and out, for your group to sprawl out and soak up paradise.

Outside, you’ll find a setup reminiscent of a beachfront seafood joint, with a private boat dock (ask us about how to rent a boat on the island!), two picnic tables shaded by palm trees, a thatched cabana in the sand and a screened in porch with an outdoor dining table that seats 6-8 and a brand new central air conditioning system. All beside the calm, clear waters of the North Sound. Fire up the charcoal grill and sear some just- caught Mahi Mahi as the sun goes down. Take the paddle boards out on the bioluminescent bay and watch the water light up. Or, if you’d rather, the legendary Rum Point Club with its beach bar, popular restaurant, and watersports shop, is just a short stroll away. So is Starfish Point, a popular destination where ruby red starfish gather in the clear, shallow water. Kids love it!

Kirk Kove has just completed some wonderful upgrades including central AC. Inside, Kirk Kove feels quite roomy, with open-concept living and dining areas and big windows for sunlight and fresh air when the breeze is blowing. Kirk Kove sleeps 6 guests, with one king-sized bedroom, one bedroom with full over full Bunk bed, and a twin trundle bed under the bunkbed and a sofa sleeper in the living room. The layout of the house, with one bedroom at either end of the main living area, allows for lots of privacy.

This cottage is the perfect getaway in Paradise!

Kirk Kove will consider a 3 night booking, but there is a US$200 premium fee for the shorter stays.

Rum Point

Rum Point/Cayman Kai is the Caribbean’s answer to a North American cottage town. Characterized by its vacation-style homes, this part of the island has a kicked-back, vacation village-style vibe, even with plenty of permanent residents. Spot each of the homes’ fun, island-style names like ‘Kailypso’, displayed by the owners on cute roadside signs.
